The three-dimensional, gloss coated, multi-layered dial, in rich gradated sapphire blue, includes rose gold accents to suggest the first glimmers of sun, as does the sharp sunray-like form of the markers and second hand. With date display and LumiBrite hands and markers, the dial also features the Presage Sharp-Edged Series, Asanoha hemp-leaf motif, a symbol of growth and prosperity dating to the Heian Period (794-1185 AD).
